This is the very same warming pad used by breeders; pet owners and veterinarians for over 30 years. You can use them in outdoor kennels, doghouses, garages or basements. Constructed of rugged ABS plastic, they lie flat on the floor or can be attached to the wall so a dog can lie on or against it. When used with a Lectro-Temp Control™, the Lectro-Kennel™ is an excellent whelping pad for puppies. Your dog needs the option to be on or off the pad, so only cover half of your dog's house or area with the Lectro-Kennel™. Add a little comfort with a faux lambskin cover. There is a washable Lectro-Cover for every size Lectro-Kennel pad.
A Lectro-Cover is a better choice than an old blanket or towel placed on a Lectro-Kennel. The Lectro-Cover is designed to let the heat pass through and not build up.
Lectro-Temp Control™
The Lectro-Temp Control™ allows you to reduce the degree of warmth for your Lectro-Kennel™ or Igloo Style Lectro-Kennel™. It is especially recommended whenever Lectro- Kennel™ pads are used for whelping puppies.
Lectro Kennels have a unique internal thermostat that keeps the temperature at a dog's body temperature of 102 when in use. Do not completely cover the floor with the Lectro-Kennel, as a dog should have a choice to be on or off the heated pad.
